Cell Journalist Announces Photo Contest for Soldiers in Iraq & Afghanistan

Nashville, TN -

(December 1, 2005) - Cell Journalist, a unique internetservice designed to connect citizen journalists with major media outlets announced today that it will host a contest for the U.S. soldiers serving overseas. The "Military Picture Contest" calls upon the troops to send in their best photos taken from overseas for a chance to win a round-trip airline ticket while they are home for the holidays.

"With the Military Picture Contest, Cell Journalist hopes to help boost morale by offering a chance for soldiers to come home and visit their families, while also facilitating an opportunity for media outlets to get unique images for their ongoing war coverage."

To enter the Military Picture contest, soldiers simply signup at the CellJournalist website become a "cell journalist" and upload their digital pictures. Uploading and submitting their photos is as easy as sending an email. Pictures can be submitted from cell phones, digital cameras or anyother device capable of capturing digital photographs.

All contest entries must be received by December 21st, 2005.
